Vrobal’s metallurgical processes include precious metal refining of spent catalysts, ores, and metal alloys. The process of refining used here includes pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical techniques – distinguishable from other processes such as smelting and calcining which involves chemical transformation to the raw material. Another breakthrough in non-ferrous extraction is to minimize metal losses in slag.
